The Beppy Hollow Tampon® is the first reusable silicone tampon in the world, made from 100% biocompatible medical silicone. This product offers women a new way to manage their menstruation, with the same conveniences as traditional tampons, but much more comfortable, safer and more sustainable.

How does it work?

The Beppy Hollow Tampon® works in a similar way to a menstrual cup, but is easier for first-time users. Thanks to its flexible, soft structure, you will hardly feel the tampon once it is in place. The tampon collects your menstrual flow without you even noticing it is there.

Step 1: Fold

Fold the tampon sideways and press the edge inwards, in a heart shape.

Step 2: Insertion

Hold the tampon in the middle and insert it into your vagina. Make sure that no part of the tampon is visible outside your vulva.

Step 3: Positioning

Use your thumb or index finger to push the tampon further into your vaginal canal. Feel around the dome to check if the tampon has unfolded properly. It should feel round or oval. If you still feel folds, gently turn the tampon from left to right to correct it. The tampon can be worn for a maximum of 8 hours.

Step 4: Removal

Gently pull on the ring to remove the tampon. Empty the tampon in the toilet or sink and rinse with cold water.

How do you maintain the Beppy Hollow Tampon®?

As with all reusable menstrual products, it is important to clean the tampon properly. Fortunately, maintenance is simple:

1. After use, rinse the tampon with cold water and a pH-neutral soap such as our Neutral Cup Soap.
2. Sterilize the tampon every day by placing it in boiling water for 5 minutes or use our sterilizer for a quick and thorough cleaning.
3. Allow the tampon to air dry completely before storing it for the next use.
