The menstrual cycle begins on the first day of menstruation and ends on the day before the first day of the following menstruation.
How long is my period cycle?
The length of the menstrual cycle varies from person to person. The average duration of a cycle is 28 days. Some women have an irregular cycle. The cause of an irregular cycle is often a disturbance of the hormone levels. It’s not at all strange when your cycle doesn’t run in sync with the rest of the day. Halfway through the cycle, an egg is released from one of the ovaries. If the egg is fertilized, it can implant itself in the lining of the uterus. This is how pregnancy begins.
When is my most fertile period?
The woman’s most fertile period is between the twentieth and thirtieth year of life. After that, fertility decreases until the menopause. From then on, menstruation stops and the fertile period ends. The period in which the menstrual pattern decreases is also called the transition. The menopause can last up to 10 years and is usually accompanied by symptoms. The age at which a woman enters the menopause varies but is on average around 50 years.

In most apps you can also specify your mood on certain days. This way, you can find out if there are similarities, so you can pamper yourself extra on those days.
