The Mount Taal volcano has erupted in the Philippines. The volcano, located south of the capital Manila, spits ash to a kilometer height.
More than one hundred thousand people who live in the area fled. They were housed in evacuation centers such as schools and sports halls.
The eruption last week ensured that entire cities around the volcano are now covered with a thick layer of ash. Houses collapsed and the entire area no longer had electricity or drinking water. The Red Cross is going to provide aid to residents in the Philippines.
Asha International offers support to The Red Cross to help the people of the Philippines. From January 10, 2020 we are the proud sponsor of The Red Cross.
